For over 40 years, Coastal Chemical has been providing janitorial and sanitation supply products to our customers. We are here to service you. We have made it our business to understand the needs of both commercial and residential users and the products that will best service those needs. Our products be a good value and be readily available. Support of Our Community Forty years of doing business in Sarasota means we are a business that is committed to our community. And our commitment goes beyond providing superb products and customer service to our customers.
Through the years Coastal has established on-going relationships with many local not-for-profit agencies that embodies both volunteer time of our employees as well as financial support from employees and the Company. Some of the most notable community support activities are:
- Sarasota Boys & Girls Club to whom we entered a five-year agreement in 2005 to provide financial support.
- Children First program with whom we have partnered with financial support on a monthly basis.
- Manasota Association for Retarded Citizens whom we support annually with their fund raising programs through product donations.
- Annually we support the Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” not only through employee participation but also by providing store discounts to customers who bring a toy to our store.
- During every holiday season we have sponsored families and donated food to All Faiths Food Bank.
- Active participation in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Muscular Dystrophy Association business leaders “jail” fundraiser.
- Disaster relief: When the hurricanes did damage in Charlotte County, we had a truck with pallets of donated product from our firm at the Red Cross collection site in less than 24 hours.
- We have supported numerous efforts in the Newtown community from sports sponsorships to free Mote Marine tickets for a science class at the elementary school.
